Thankfully, todays song stylists, particlularly Michael Buble, have kept the legacy of Swing alive. Others over the years, such as Harry Connick Jr & Robbie Williams, have done their bit as well - keeping the standards alive - talented performers, bringing their own "style" to the music while apealling to modern music tastes. And not forgetting the songwriters & composers of that golden era - Cole Porter, Ira & George Gershwin, Glenn Millar, Benny Goodman, Nelson Riddle (arranger & composer for several major performers including Frank Sinatra) to name just a few. These greats, performers & composers, shaped the music that has endured the years. Today, many artists emulate those greats.
