Swing songs from the greats

Greg Sperling is a stylish vocalist performing the songs of the "Song Stylists" of the golden era - "Song Stylists" such as Sammy Davis Jr,  Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald, Tony Bennett, Michel Legrand to name just a few. Even today, song stylists such as Harry Connick Jr, Michael Buble & Robbie Williams keep the standards alive - talented performers, bringing their own "style" to the music without compromising the integrity of songs they perform, while still apealling to modern music tastes. 

And not forgetting the songwriters & composers of that golden era - Cole Porter, Ira & George Gershwin, Glenn Millar, Benny Goodman, Nelson Riddle (arranger & composer for several major performers including Frank Sinatra) to name just a few. These greats, performers  & composers, shaped the music that has endured the years.

Today, many artists emulate those greats. There are "Ratpacks" roaming the world and more and more artists are embracing these wonderful works of yesteryear.

In 2007, in a highlight in his short singing career, Greg performed in the Gold Coast Arts Centre's musical production, "Broadway in Concert", in which he sang the timeless classic, "The Lady Is A Tramp". Another of his solo efforts in the production was the Frankie Valli hit "Can't Take My Of f  You". The show ran for 6 sold out nights and received rave reviews.
